This old fort destroyed by the French troops during the 16th century and rebuilt in 1609 is currently a cultural centre. Its park of 12 ha, rich in various species, among which very rare ones, owns a permanent exhibition of contemporary artists. It is also the scene of a musical, summer and annual event of international repute: the Gaume Jazz Festival.
