The Armand Steurs Square is a beautiful green space, a small jewel as the riparians call it. It is mainly composed of high houses born with the century. It slopes gently on a slab under the ground, under which lies the railway line of the junction North - Leopold district. In the lower part stands a sculpted group, "the Quarriers" by Guillaume Charlier, four fountains, amongst which "La Source", a gilded statue by Julien Dillens, which make us think of the work by the mayor of Saint-Josse, Armand Steurs. The higher, more paved part of the square comprises the Steurs memorial and the hundred years-old tree. The Armand Steurs Square shows an urban and rural quality laying-out, typical of the interwar years.
