Ever since the luxurious Old England stores opened at the end of the 19th century, they gained a strong reputation thanks to the building they where housed in. While the entrance clearly shows an Art Nouveau influence, the rest of the building perfectly fits the neoclassical style of the Place Royal.
The MIM has been housed in this building since June 2000.
Especially the museum's extraordinary collections grab your attention.
From the moment you enter the museum, you leave on a world trip through musical history thanks to over 1,150 masterpieces.
The MIM is the perfect place to experience music. Thanks to the head phones you can listen to the melodies of the instruments on display.
