Until the end of 2010, the Liège City Pass will be sold at the price of € 12 for 48 hours (instead of € 16) for individuals and at € 36 for 48 hours (instead of € 54) for families.

The Liège City Pass is some sort of quadrilingual (French, Dutch, German and English) booklet filled with discount vouchers offering the following advantages:
- Free admission to 13 museums.
- Tape guided Simenon itinerary.
- A discount on the Meuse cruise.
- A discount on the tourist train rides.

Comment:

Liège City Pass is available at the Liège Tourist Office, at the Liège Tourist House and at the tourist office of the Liège-Guillemins train station.

Individual pass: 48 h: € 12 (instead of € 16).
Family pass (2 adults + 2 children younger than 18) 48h: € 36 (instead of € 54).
Free of charge for children younger than 6.

To enjoy the advantages of the Liège City Pass, you only have to show the booklet at the ticket office of the attraction (coupons that are already cut out will not be valid).

The booklet is strictly personal and cannot be given to another person.
The booklet is valid for 48h starting from the date and hour mentioned on the document.
It is possible that a supplement is asked during special exhibitions or events.

ARCHÉOFORUM (LIEGE) © spw - G.Focant The Archéoforum, beneath the Place Saint-Lambert, offers a visit to the remains exposed during a series of archaeological excavations between 1907 and the present day. The true "historical heart" of the city, the Place has yielded the traces of nearly 9000 years of history. From the concrete entrance point on the îlot Tivoli, a reminder of the major works around the Place Saint-Lambert, to the gift and book shop, passing through the crypt dedicated to Saint-Lambert and the remains of the Vieux Marché, the visitor travels through ten scenographic settings each with its own different audio-visual atmosphere. CATHEDRAL AND TREASURY (LIEGE) © O.T. Liege - Marc Verpoorten It's Saint-Paul's Cathedral that houses today the Treasury of Saint-Lambert's Cathedral. Like most of the religious buildings of this size, Saint Paul's has undergone various refurbishments and reconstructions since it was first built in around 1230 - the last addition was an additional floor in the tower in the 19th century which is an imitation of that of Saint-Lambert. The Treasury in the 15th century cloisters houses many treasures including the famous "Reliquary of Charles the Bold" (around 1467), the famous bust-reliquary of Saint-Lambert (around 1512) and the Meuse ivory of the Three Resurrections. Its collections of textiles (shroud of Saint-Lambert, liturgical ornaments) are remarkable. COLLEGIATE CHURCH OF SAINT-BARTHELEMY AND THE BAPTISMAL FONTS (LIEGE) © O.T. Liege - Marc Verpoorten Not unlike Saint-Denis and Saint-Martin, the architecture of Saint-Barthélemy reflects the fact that it once played an important part in the city's defences. It is the oldest religious construction in Liège, the exterior dating back to the 12th century - the interior was completely changed at the beginning of the 18th century. The church has fantastic bronze baptismal fonts, which date back to 1118 and were originally installed in Notre-Dame-aux-Fonts, a little church joined to Saint-Lambert Cathedral, which was destroyed in 1794 by French revolutionaries.
