Francofolies

As it does every year, including on this occasion, the famous Ville d'Eau (Water City) will play host to some internationally renowned French-speaking artists, such as Obispo, Chr. Willem, Dutronc and Ghinzu, who’ll be performing on various stages, wowing audiences as ever.

The Spa Francofolies has become an unmissable and, some would say, the number one summer festival!

But there’s more to the Francofolies than that. It also provides:
Fairly priced tickets and massive promotional, financial and artistic support to musicians from the French-speaking community, with the twice-yearly FrancoSessions – advanced performance, singing and coaching workshops offered by seasoned professionals.

This festival will be fun, comfortable, socially aware and environmentally friendly, with green electricity; a quality shuttle bus service to encourage the use of public transport; reminders about disposal of cups; special rubbish sorting and recycling areas; a ban on distributing flyers; reusable cups, etc.

Other measures are currently being examined, such as payment of a carbon tax and the use of composting toilets.
