Folknam:  Namur Day of Traditions and Folklore

Proud of its wealth and the diversity of its traditional heritage, the town of Namur dedicates a day a year to presenting its traditions.

On this occasion, a superb traditional and historical parade, made up of all the town groups accompanied by prestigious guests, takes over the streets of Namur.

There will be traditional music and dance, a medieval combat, traditional market and gastronomic brotherhoods: the Commandery of the Coteaux de Meuse (Wépion), the Brotherhood of Pèket d'Namur and its snails (Namur), the Brotherhood of the Cavalier of the Tart and the Pompe (Belgrade) and the Brotherhood of the Soçons de Try des Gotes (Emines).


10 am: market with regional specialties, stands of gastronomic brotherhoods
10:30 am - 4:15 pm: folkloric animations on the Place d'Armes
3 pm: big historical parade
4:15 pm - 4:30 pm: final rondeau on the Place d'Armes

The event always takes place on the third Saturday of April
