Around twenty celebrated restaurants and caterers will be serving great gastronomic dishes. In Liège from 24 to 28 May 2012

Take a gastronomic promenade to discover the specialities of French cuisine, Liége and other more exotic cuisines with Italian or Oriental savours, a choice of refined cheeses and iced desserts, all of which happily dampened by some special beers and champagnes carefully selected by the chefs.
This year, 2 new "gastronomic" inventions will be presented to visitors:
- purchase high quality produce at the entrance and take home some great gastronomic souvenirs from the Epicuriales
- specialist chefs will be holding cooking demonstrations to which visitors can participate by registering on the Epicuriales website from 1 May
Sophie Brissaud is the guest of honour for 2012: a globe-trotter journalist, food writer and critique, who will be presenting her many recipe books.
The Epicuriales has come up with a fun and original system: the entrance is free and inside you pay with "ears", the currency minted for the occasion.
Each ear costs 2 euros. Prices vary but remain affordable, allowing everyone to test several dishes. You'll find several tents placed facing each other to give the venue the atmosphere of a welcoming village.
Each tent will be hosting samplings and tastings of the menus of different restaurants taking part in the Epicuriales.
You'll be sure to enjoy great combinations of produce and mastery, which will be waiting just for you!
