Elegance by the river

Although Namur is the capital of the Walloon Region, it has kept its quiet and bourgeois charm.

Stroll through the historical heart of the city at the pace of a snail, the city's mascotte. At the confluence of the Sambre and the Meuse, a web of alleys is nestled at the foot of the CITADEL. Go for a walk and discover, among others, the Félicien Rops museum (PROVINCIAL FÉLICIEN ROPS MUSEUM), have a refreshing drink at a café terrace or go on a shopping spree.

Five itineraries help you discover the city and its history.

Hop on the small tourist train (CITADELLE DE NAMUR) and enjoy a fun trip across the city.

If you want to admire the vivid landscapes, be sure to board a bateau mouche. You will feel like on a cruise (COMPAGNIE DES BATEAUX "NAMUR").
